We know young girls are less likely to pursue STEM subjects at school and are more likely to disregard a potential career in technology than young boys.
Research conducted by O2 showed that almost half of 11-18 year-olds (47%) still believe that the tech industry is better suited to men, whilst only 4% feel the sector best suits women.
