Introduction to Power and Privilege: How Do they Shape Experiences in Tech?

When: Thursday October 26th 2017

Fearless Futures uniquely works within organisations to engage people in critical thinking to understand and challenge the root causes of inequalities and to grow powerful new leadership for transformative change.

This two hour workshop will be an introductory exploration into the way power and privilege manifest everyday across gender, race, class, sexuality, faith and (dis)ability in our organisations. Our facilitator will take participants through a participatory and experiential journey to begin to understand how our identities shape our experience of the world and how this impacts how we feel, how we are perceived and in turn, how we can grow meaningful change in our organisation.
