Supporting women in business
Date: Tue, March 27, 2018
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM BST
Location: Browne Jacobson LLP, 6 Bevis Marks, London EC3A 7BA
The proportion of small and medium-sized companies run by women is increasing. Yet there is greater potential still: there are more women with great entrepreneurial ideas who need the support to help their businesses succeed. According to the Women’s Business Council, women also struggle with a lack of confidence in their business skills, while others feel there aren’t enough diverse female role models to inspire them or show them it is possible to become an entrepreneur.
In order to raise awareness and to celebrate female founders and entrepreneurs, as well as to make sure that more women get access to support and funding they need and deserve, Women of Wearables are bringing together six incredible speakers who provide mentorship, investment and connections for women in tech and business, and are all very passionate about supporting women and diverse communities on their entrepreneurial journey.
