Tech Talent Charter undertook research with research to understand what causes women to leave tech jobs and the tech workforce. According to research conducted by Accenture in the US in 2019, 50% of women who take a Tech role leave by age 35, citing non-inclusive cultures as the main reason. This research, based on data taken in March 2023, provides an updated perspective on women’s experience of the UK tech landscape and the factors that influence them to leave tech roles and occupations.
